I don’t recommend specific hotels or hostels unless either I or a friend of mine has stayed there. A friend of mine recently stayed at the Telmotango hostel in Buenos Aires and enjoyed it. Private rooms are available and they seem quite nice for a hostel. The hostel is in a charming old building. I went inside and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a place that I myself would certainly consider staying (even though I don’t normally stay in hostels), so that’s why I’m listing it here. Telmotango is located at Chacabuco 679.
