An easier but much more expensive approach is to go through one of several apartment rental companies.

The prices are ridiculously high by Argentine standards, but as a foreigner in a short-term rental, you’re not going to get the local prices. Locals in Buenos Aires will generally pay only about 1/3 of the price listed on these sites. However, locals have to enter into a two-year lease and put up a guarantee (e.g.., property from family or a friend).
