You can always take a taxi but another option if you want to save money is to take the shuttle bus offered by Empresa Real. It’s parked by the curb just outside the entrance of the airport. The buses are air conditioned and will take up to an hour, depending upon where you are staying. The buses go by the beaches first and then head into the city. The cost is R$5 and the buses leave the airport every half hour from 5:20am till 11pm.
