Remember to reconfirm your flights in South America

Travelers from the US are often not used to having to reconfirm their airline flights. Yet, this is a common requirement among South American airlines. So, if your tickets require you to reconfirm your flight before 24 hours of departure, then you should do so. If not, you run a risk of being bumped from your flight. It´s usually a short phone call, so remember to reconfirm your flight.
