I will not normally make reference to a specific travel operator in this blog, but Elderhostel is a not-for-profit organization that I really respect. Elderhostel’s focus is to provide educational opportunities for older adults. Learning opportunities are at the core of a trip conducted through Elderhostel. Also, in comparison to other tour operators, the not-for-profit Elderhostel offers fairly reasonable prices. (Remember that nothing is as cheap as independent travel). So, if you’re of retirement age and interested in lifelong learning and prefer to travel with a tour operator than independently, then you might want to consider Elderhostel’s Caribbean, Central and South American trips.
