Most people know that Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid hid out in Patagonia. If you down near Esquel and have your own transport, then you can visit their cabin. The cabin is now in a state of neglect and falling apart but that adds much more to the mystique. It’s off an upaved road outside of Cholia. A small sign marks the spot. You have to climb over a fence and walk a short ways to get there but it’s worthwhile if you’re in the area. Afterall, just how many times will you be in the area?
