Bus Companies in Argentina

Long distance buses in Argentina are usually very comfortable. Just be sure to avoid the semi-cama buses if you want to get the most comfortable seats. Different bus lines will call the better class of bus service by different names, usually coche cama or ejecutivo. Strange as it sounds, I actually enjoy traveling 20 hours by bus in Argentina.

Here are some links to the Web sites for the most common bus companies. But, perhaps the best way to get tickets is just to go to the bus station in Retiro (just north of downtown Buenos Aires) two or three days before your trip. The station is arranged by destination. So, look for the color-coded signs to the region of Argentina where you want to travel and then browse among the desks of the bus companies going to that region.
