Backpacking Brazil with Roman Virdi

Roman Virdi has traveled all over the world, taking his camera along and writing about his journeys. He shares his 2002 trip to Brazil when he spent 3 weeks in northeastern Brazil. Read his excellent account of the trip and admire his nice photos. (Note: on the first page, just scroll down until you get to the text). He provides a lot of good tips, such as “for colonial buildings, we found less touristy places like Cachoeira and Penedo more interesting than famous Olinda”.
