Now here’s a really thoughtful blog by clearly an intelligent traveler in South America, Benjamin Dangl’s Upside Down Blog. He goes beyond the tourist babble that is repeated so often and gives a very insightful perspective. This is what we would like to see more often!
A good travelogue by a young guy traveling through South Ameria is Ed’s Gone South. He has some good photos on this site, too….nice eye for composition in those pictures.
The number of free travel blog sites is proliferating. A full, comparative review is needed. Another entry in this market is globenotes.com, which might have potential but I’ve not used it enough to know for sure. My first thought is that a lot of these sites have horrible designs….please hire a graphic designer. :-)
